Our commitment
WE-Optimizz is Wix Accessibility certified and applies the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA to this website. Accessibility is part of how we build, not a check at the end. The European Accessibility Act (in force since June 2025) makes this a legal requirement for many online services; for us it is also simply good design, and it helps search engines and AI systems understand a page.
What we do on this site
- Semantic HTML with one H1 per page and a logical heading order
- Keyboard operation for every menu, form, accordion and dialog, with visible focus states
- A skip link to the main content and consistent landmarks (header, nav, main, footer)
- Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and interface components
- Descriptive alternative text on informative images; decorative images are hidden from screen readers
- Form fields with visible labels, clear error messages and no reliance on colour alone
- Responsive layout that reflows up to 400% zoom without horizontal scrolling
- Animations that respect the "reduce motion" setting of your operating system
How we test
We combine automated checks (axe, Lighthouse, WAVE) with manual testing: keyboard-only navigation, screen readers (NVDA on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS and iOS) and browser zoom. New pages are tested before they go live; the full site is re-tested at least twice a year.
Known limitations
This is a site under active development. At the moment we know about the following points and are working on them:
- Some 3D and animated elements (the location globe, review animations) offer a simplified alternative but may still be difficult to use with a screen reader.
- A few older images from partner platforms do not yet have optimal alternative text.
- Embedded third-party content (maps, booking calendars) may not fully meet WCAG; we cannot change those components ourselves.
